Our Mission & Vision
Recognizing the need for commercial pilots as well as the cost of training we have created a non-profit called Air Transport Flight Academy and received IRS approval designating it as a 501C3 public charity. This now makes all donations of every type tax deductible.
ATFA’s plan is to offer qualified candidates (qualifications to be determined) unable to afford the high cost of flight training either full or partial scholarship while also helping our graduates find employment in the airline industry.
ATFA’s training will begin at existing flight schools (possibly in conjunction with an aviation college) with ATFA eventually forming or purchasing its own Faa 141 approved flight school or schools.
ATFA will solicit donations and grants from both public and private companies as well as the aviation community. It will also look for donations of various types including aircraft, equipment and training material of all types.
ATFA will also reach out to Faa 121, 135 carriers and international one’s as well offering contracts to supply qualified graduates.
